BURJ AL ARAB

DAY 7

Its our second day at Dubai. Dubai tak lama pown, esok dah kena gerak balik abu dhabi as our flight to next destination is in the morning of DAY 9. So we try to fill as much lah today. Owh penat semacam, even katil and bilik okay2 lah compare to the one we stay but still tido dah makin liat je nak bangun. ehhehee... But memikirkan no Tia kena bangun.. kena rajin. bila lagi nak jalan. penat tau planning and simpan duit. ehhehee.. badan tak penat mana tapi biasalah malas bila dah dapat katil. me and my HOMIE syndrome ahahhaa...

So this time tak d roti, we include with the HOTEL breakfast as this hotel cheaper than the dodgy hotel before nie. Tapi agak dissapointed lah jugak. ahahaa.. may be sebab dah slalu sangat ikut mama breakfast kat hotel best best... so expectation tu high lah sikit. Anyways its okay janji ada jugak untuk alas perut! Syukur lah nak oiii..

Dah kenyang breakfast siap amik roti extra tu utk bekal ahahaa.. kalau lapar boleh makan nie alas perut later on... First pit stop is the second Dubai signature building. The BURJ AL ARAB. tu ha kat gambar intro ku. ehhehee.. itulah another Dubai main attraction. However kalau tgk another angle, my friend cakap it was the biggest cross in the world. may be from a different angle view. mcm2 kan lah manusia kalau nak cari issue. nways for me it depands on how you view it. 

to get the best view, obviously tak leh amik at the exact place. mmg tak nampak apa lah bentuk ke apa. so amik lah kat JUMEIRAH BEACH. 

Kat sini since mcm panas, rasa best je nak makan ice cream... elok plak tu ice cream truck kat sblah. macam memanggil2 je. yup berjaya pengaruh ku. we end up beli jugak ice cream. at first mcm tak tahu nak makan ice cream apa. all mcm typical je.nak try yg tak d kat tempat lain which this ice cream. dari arie tu nampak masa kat kedai atas jabel hafeet, Al Ain. So im guessing its their ori ice cream. kecik je tapi cost us 8 Dirham each. okaylah strawberry vanilla flavour.

Dah puas amik gambar semua.. we make a move to the next destination which heading off to PALM JUMEIRAH and ATLANTIS HOTEL. dalam Google map pown bentuk macam PALM TREE.

Otw mcm2 view korunk nampak. Always look out for the street sign, Building or residence kat palm jumeirah nie semua boleh tahan lah standard org kaya and modern. but so cantik. sure mahal.. Pastu satu kat Dubai nie kitaorg prasan sometimes traffic light dia mesti ada yg kecik kat bawah tu utk certain2 org yg terlebih ke depan and tak nampak dah traffic light yg atas. Dari main jalan je ada lah lagi guide bila nak hijau. Its normal kalau tengah2 drive kreta kuda berdiri (bak kata Aishah) aka Ferrari or JAGUAR lalu . ahhahaa...

kreta dorunk boleh tahan lah murah. Although me know nothing about car, as usual Aishah tukang explain. ahahahaa...

 Ha.. bila sampai je kat ATLANTIS HOTEL.. pergh seriously terpegun. the design ada sikit i feel like China nye emperor but DESIGN Alaaa ARAB tu ada jugak. Its so HUGE and nampak so exclusive. nie standard stay satu malam mesti alaa Emirates Palace tu. Haaaa curiousity kills.. apa lagi..memang nk check it out jap. Owh okay..surprisingly its cheaper than the Emirates Palace. Atlantis hotel nie paling murah semalam dalam 600 AUD and paling mahal dalam 2600 aud. PER NIGHT ye harap maklum. mmg berangan je lah mampu kan nak stay kat tempat2 macam nie. ehehhee...

Mengadap hotel nie is the PERSIAN GULF. more like open sea. biru nye air masyaallah. mmg superb lah jawabnya bilik mengadap the sea.

BIG BUS DUBAI

HOP ON HOP OFF DUBAI

 Kat sini ada utk sewa basikal if nak round2 the place. and mmg banyak tourist yg dtg sini. bus bawa touring both pown ada.  BIG BUS DUBAI and also HOP ON HOP OFF DUBAI. byk je keep on lalu kat sini. i guess it is one of the main attraction jugak.

And last STOP kitaorg for the day would be visit the GOLD SOUK. SOUK rasanya stands for market. tapi tu lah dia nye crowded macam masjid india. boleh stress okay jalan kat sini. my TIPS nak datang tempat nie, korunk naik lah teksi. suruh dia drop je kat sini. sebabnya nak mencari parking satu hal, kalau dah masuk nak keluar another hal. bercinta weiii... dia nye traffic masyaallah. byk2kan lah istighfar. In the end kita org lalu je. ye lah nak beli tak d duit pown. kat GOLD SOUK ni tempat beli emas murah katanya but pelik jugak tak d pown dengar tempat nie ke ROMPAK. ehehhee... the irony of it kan?

Dekat area2 sini jugak for girls and woman yg nak cari jubah murah2 boleh survey kat sini. TIPS dia jgn lupa bargain!! kalau my mama ada sini mesti lagi best as she the best NEGOTIATER ehheee.. boleh dapat up to 50% kalau mama ada neyh.. yup i end up buying 2 JUBAH.. hari tu me buy abaya for my self.. nie beli JUBAH plak. yeay ada my own jubah hitam. Although tempat nie tak d lah se-elegant jubah modern style tapi ini je yg mampu for now. but not bad actually. Me bought one for my mom. HOPE she likes it. ikat perut neyh nak belikan for her BIRTHDAY soon which i know im not gonna be in Aussie with her..well its the thoughts that counts. (^^,)

before head back to hotel, macam tergerak je nak explore MALL blakang Hotel nie. Pergh... nie lagi lah MALL org kaya. kat dalam nie all branded je, HERMES, LV and yg sewaktu dgn nya. kitaorg as usual mencari dinner. ahahhahaa....

Kali nie i have to say puas hati dapat makan. Walaupun first time try FILIPINO cuisine. but its nice and sgt terbaik ok! sedap giler sampai habes makan. alaaa masak kicap dgg pown ada with jasmine steam rice. BURPPPP.. alhamdulillah. so far one of my favourite restaurant jugak!

BARRIO FIESTA : Salpicao (28) + Jasmine Rice (7) + Ice tea (17)
and dessert Maja Blanca (share 15 Dirham = 7.5 Dirham each) = total appx 60 Dirham

thats conclude the day. Balik bilik rehat plak. esok nak gerak balik dah. 2 hours drive back to ABU DHABI! as for expenses today... apa ek blanja

esok tak banyak activity but will still blog about it, coz u never know what sort of memories you will encounter daily in your life.

DAY 6

Enough of ABU DHABI..its time for us to move to another city. Our next destination would be DUBAI... the famous shopping paradise DUBAI! with the tallest skyscraper building known as BURJ KHALIFA. 

so dlm pukul 10 cam tu we check out from the hotel. enough rest semua. since we will be in d car je. i put on a simple me tudung alaaa NISA aka mcm KEK NIS (HANIS ZALIKHA). tu pown tudung hitam nie yg favourite to wear like that sbb senang bentuk.

Then before gerak since smalam tak sempat nak singgah CORNICHE BEACH, today kitaorg singgah lah kejap since the beach pown dekat je ngan our place. ehhehee.. hopefully byklah parking sbb FRIDAY, weekend they usually be less people around may be they more of spending time kat rumah. Kat sini Weekend dorunk JUMAAT and SABTU. As i mention or may b not, Corniche Beach nie tak byk parking. Ada pown satu tu je lah yg ciput. Kalau in Malaysia mmg dah penuh double park. ehehhee... pastu parking space dia nuuunn hujung of the beach. So mmg menapak lah jawabnya nak g ke beach. Beach dia panjang sgt. kitaorg mcm malas nak jalan sebab its HOT! so jalan sampai nampak beach je. ahhahaaa.. but first few miles the beach was closed for special even YA SALAM 2015 mcm MUSIC FESTIVAL tepi pantai. Ada lah artist tgh SOUNDCHECK. boleh je nampak. tapi memang kesah plak kitaorg sape tu? kenal pown tak. His voice not bad lah. 

Me cakap ngan Aishah, jangan nanti balik Malaysia lagu nie bru nak famous memang bangga lah sbab dpt tgh sound check dia kat sini. Slalu mcm tu lah. opposite of the beach mcm ada something happening, tapi tak tahu lah apa tu. One thing about the beach sgt lah biru air dia. hish bersih dan cantik sgt. Pasir pown tak melekit but compare padang pasir mmg lagi smooth pasir at the DESSERT!

Kitaorang tak lama pown just snap2 and off to Souveniers SHOP called GIFT LAND at HAMDAN STREET. So far my friend said nie paling murah. hurm not bad lah. mcm HOT DOLLAR in Aussie je. Tak d lah murah sgt. Mcm kat Paddys tu ada je souvy 1 dollar. ni paling murah 5 Dirham. 

I feel so tempted to buy for people. At least nak jugak belikan utk rumah Maksu, Kak Tania and my lil sis new HOUSE. soon!! hehehe.. tapi apakan daya tak ckup plak budget! so cannot lah. ada tu ingat nak beli utk kengkawan jugak. ye lah mcm selfiesh je jalan2 tak belikan org. Especially yg belikan me crystal ball like Alissa. Minta maaf banyak2 ye kengkawan and family. saya traveller budget. ada rezeki next time dah kije baru boleh belikan. Sorry from the bottom of my heart. Jangan kecik hati tau!

Something caught my eyes and funny tak tahu apa maksu MANDI here tapi if we read it mcm AYAM AND DAGING MANDI.. ahahhaa.. how can i forget this. ehhehee funny!

Now the journey begins...DUBAI HERE WE COME! Along the way korunk akan nampak dari jauh ABU DHABI city. dorunk nie banyak je sign board but careful if salah masuk which nnt kena pusing jauh lah jugak. ehehhee...

Ada lah nampak Masjid, Rest Area tak banyak except petrol station. Tapi once dah sampai je City of DUBAI... memang senang nak cam, sebab semua full of HIGH BUILDING! no jokes mmg semua tinggi-tinggi. Including the HOTEL jugak. Nampak very modern. At first we terus gerak g our Hotel, AL BURAQ HOTEL dekat DEIRA. make sure u take the right road. Their ways is more to numbers like aussie jugak exit route 29 or stay in route 71. something like that la...

Haaa cite pasal hotel kitaorg book plak AL BURAQ tu... homai... dekat nak sampai tu dah mcm eyh where is the HOTEL. The kawasan so DODGY! giler rasa tak selamat nak stay sini. Mcm kawasan kat PUDU or MASJID INDIA. u get what i mean kan. Dia nye crowded and all. Rupa nya dekat sgt dgn GOLD SOUK and NAIF SOUK. pastu call receptionist of the hotel pown was very rude. i mean kita org call nak tanya where can we park. Since masa booking tu kata ada provide Free parking!

At that time we pown pikir tak pe kowt park kat PERMIT HOLDER for the HOTEL, since kita pown nak check in. so kitaorg pown trun mencari pintu masuk. Then lagi skali ketidak puas hati ku dgn reception nie. dah le tak reti nak cari booking kitaorg, siap ramai2 boleh ckp NO PARKING. im like what? tak perlu kowt ko nye CLEANER pown nak sibuk time check in. bertambah hangin ngan tempat nie. siap argue and last2 dia call manager dia sendiri. Ye lah. We nak stay agak sikit baik sikit layanan tu. Dah tempat ko dodgy. lepas tu bukan ada org pown park kat permit holder tu apa kata ko kasi je customer ko. nie tak siap ckp nnt kena saman 200 Dirham sebab park situu homai are you kidding me???

Last2 me stay in d car, Aishah settle dengan manager. Manager tu ckp we can cancel the book tapi kena go through tempat we book. if the allowed the money will be refunded. Kitaorg nak call pown dah tak boleh sebab credit Aishah dah abes. So kenalah gi top up dulu. Haaaa.. lagi satu, boleh tak dia kata company policy tak leh nak bg balik duit even kitaorg nak kurang kan satu malam. meaning kitaorg stay ke tak tetap dorunk amik duit tu. Macam C****A... ya allah sakit betul hati ku dgn hotel nie. dah le service teruk, rude plak tu, tempat pown indah khabar dari rupa! 

nak tau kenapa awal2 kitaorg pilih tempat nie?? sebab rupa dia mcm nie. Nampak Helok kan? rupanya tak tahu nak describe korunk imagine lah sendiri kalau pintu pown kitaorg tak jumpa!!!

So utk mengcool kan kitaorg nye hati yg panas! kitaorg cari the nearest MALL utk top up and also makan. ye lah mana makan lagi for the day! so we went to DEIRA MALL. besar okay. sangat best. mcm MID VALLEY campur SUNWAY PYRAMID!

Lepas dapat top up g duduk cari makan while Aishah call the HOTEL.COM and EXPEDIA to settle the cancellation and proceed with the new HOTEL. tgk2 the cheapest for the day would be the LONDON CROWN 2 HOTEL. We end up makan kat food court je. Today me eat CHINESE food from Panda Chinese plak. okay lah sebab dah tak tahu nak makan apa.

This dalam 27 Dirham for the lots. Orange Chicken dia sedap.

ALHAMDULILLAH berkat dok kumat kamit baca ayat Qursi masa Aishah tengah settle cancellation dapat jugak kitaorg refund even lambat as it will took 7-14 days to refund! dah lega.. apa lagi senang hati jalan2 dalam mall before gerak g new hotel. 

Tanpa di duga nampak plak kitaorg kedai FOREVER 21. Kedai FAVOURITE AISHAH. harapan nak mencari tights je for me sebab tak bawa baju tdo. but see what happen?

YES! I end up buying this pyjamas! its 135 Dirham je. Kat Aussie mcm tak de. mula pikir 135 mcm tak nak! ye lah duit kowt. terbang duit ku. but since i decided not to naik BURJ KHALIFA apa kata tak pe kowt spend on this! BIRTHDAY PRESSY something I will like and love! AISHAH LAH NIE... plus pikir it will be useful utk NEGARA2 sejuk yg bakal ku pergi lepas nie. sedap sikit nak tdo nnt!

Then off to find our new HOTEL 

so this is how our room look like. terkejut siap ada washing machine and dapur even we dont plan to masak pown. basuh baju may be. ingat ada dryer mcm tak d je.

Kitaorg letak bag je and the off again nak kejarkan tgk DUBAI FOUNTAIN at the DUBAI MALL.

okay sampai2 Dubai Mall nie besar giler okay!! seriously! benda first caught my eyes is thi beautiful colourful UMBRELLA dekat dlm MALL but are THE VILLAGE! 

Pastu baru find our way to DUBAI FOUNTAIN! ingat dah lost.. ahahhaa mcm takut tak ingat jalan je. ahahahhaa... sebab besar sgt!

DUBAI FOUNTAIN! credit photo to AISHAH! it start at 6-12pm. session dia every half and hour. semua lagu lain2. ada arab, ada cina, ada bollywood. very multi cultural kan.
