Ya-Sas (Hello) Athens

 

DAY 9

Its time to fly again.. Time to say goodbye to UAE and move on to our next destination which is ATHENS!! Our flight is at 9am in the morning. We make a move to the airport around 6am. Rilex je kan? Bangun dah awal pown tapi siap2 and tunggu subuh baru gerak to the airport.  TQ Kak Ila for the Karipap breakfast. Sangat sedap okay!! YUMMY!! and also for the one night stay in your wonderful katil. memang nyenyak sungguh kitaorg tido tak rasa apa dah. eheheh... penat kowt due to travelling from dubai. ehhehee.. As if lah me yg drive. 

Our flight is estimated to reached ATHENS around 12.30 pm. including the time difference between UAE and ATHENS which is 2 hours differences makes our flight nearly 5 hours. Mula2 nampak langit je. tak tahu bila nampak awan je mesti snap tapi everytime pown lupa nak send to my cuzzy NADHRAH yg pantang nampak awan kepok2 mesti dia snap. 

Dalam flight ada jugak meals yang disediakan. since its ETIHAD so still lah HALAL. owh the best thing about naik ETIHAD from ABU DHABI, bayangkan bertambah selamat when before they actually gerak the plane, dorunk announce and baca doa naik kenderaan. MASYAALLAH. serious, lepas nie mana2 pergi no 1 memang nak naik ETIHAD! Somehow tak yah rasa was was nak makan their meals or even nak solat pown boleh. ALHAMDULILLAH. As for my breakfast I had the Mixed pepper and cheese Omelette + beed sausage + marinated tomato and hash brown with my cup of coffee. Alhamdulillah. dah kenyang layan movie satu and sleep for a while. Terjaga sebab had a bad dream which tak yah lah cite menakutkan je and terus tak tdo dah and layan hindustan. ehehee.. between Salman and Shah Rukh ill choose SRK! ehhehee.. best jugak cite dia but tak sempat abes sebab dah nak sampai. I guess sambung tgk nanti lah bila nak balik dari Edinburgh ke Abu Dhabi and Abu Dhabi ke Malaysia. Nak tahu cite apa nnt ah kasi tahu dah last2 nak balik Malaysia.

SOOOOO.... 

HELLO ATHENS or in greek they say YAA means HELLO!

Haaa.. walaupun ada je mak arab yg fly skali tapi dorunk naik limo so protetcted sikit even with head scarf. kitaorg nie langkah berjaga2. ehehhee... so sampai je terus pakai inner and tukar beanies. ehehhee.. keluar2 alamak tak d lah sejuk giler. I mean boleh tahan lagi lah dekat2 winter mcm aussie jugak. itu pown orang Athens nie dah pandang kitaorg pakai tebal macam apa je... owh well daku yg pakai dikau yang panas. plus who cares kan kitaorg kan tourist. we are allowed to act like one!

Haaa tak d jauh beza lah ngan Malaysia sebab dorunk pown ada tol nie. ahahah... not that its amaze me tapi most develop country dah makin lama tak d dah orang jaga kat gate tol nie. mcm aussie and abu dhabi. main chip scan je. Pastu Aishah kata nasib tak drive kat sini sebab dorunk nye signboard nie dah le bahasa dorunk. memang tak paham apa lah kan? ehehhee.. Our driver  yg pick us up is arrange by the owner AirBnb yg kitaorg stay. mcm kawan dia lah. He charge us cheaper than the taxi. Dia datang pown dengan kawan dia. Omg they look old and somehow reminds me of my arwah Acik Oli. Haa kawan dia plak siap angkat my heavy bag (26.3kg.. biasalah pompuan mana reti travel light) masuk dalam kreta. Me plak yg risau. ahahhaa.. ye lah tak pasal tulang dia slip disc mcm daku. ahahhaa... Owh skali pandang he reminds me of my friend that I call MR.CHIPSMORE tapi masa zaman i know him 7 years ago lah. ahahhaa.. cool cool... its interesting what kind of people you will meet and also how sometimes they reminds you of someone in your life either your family or friends.

 

So after dalam half and hour tu we safely arrived in our AirBnb place. Our suburb is call METAXOURGIO. 

Hari nie no touring. free and easy. This is our room for Athens. not bad, cosy and ada balcony. the owner pown baik. she stay in the next room. very polite and friendly. tak d lah takut sangat. OMG she so friendly. Our first day dia dah bawa tunjuk mana nak naik public transport, mana supermarket, mana nak dapat cheese pie best area her house. very helpful. Padahal masa kitaorg sampai tu dia insist nak tunjuk kitaorg while sharing with us her exprience makan other countries food masa her charity events. ehhehe comel je. Lagi best siap buat statement kat sini police2 dia handsome. ahahaa.. no jokes okay.. memang segak ah dari the normal citizen. ehhehee...

Apa lagi first thing first wefie kat balcony with our winter OOTD.

Since today tak buat apa2 and bermulanya our budget in Athens and for other places jugak despite we have pack instant food dari Malaysia, still we need to but a lil groceries from the supermarket. All the basic je.  So this is what we come up with for our Dinner. Nie Aishah yang masak pakai rice cooker. ehehee.. tu pown some main microwave je lepas tu gaul ngan nasi putih and add on lah perencah nasi goreng cina from MALAYSIA. ehehhee.. Alhamdulillah dapat jgak makan kan?

ehehhee...

The night is so cold. Had to rasmikan my OWL ONESIES i bought from DUBAI! ehehhee.. totally worth it okay. and of course first thing first check time solat. Mana jua kita travel tak d istilah tinggal solat. nie bukan nak tunjuk alim. but its something i try to improve myself. ye lah kita travel we dont know what will happen to us. Sape lagi nak tolong and lindung kita kalau bukan ALLAH. Alhamdulillah may be this travel will help me muuhasabah diri and also betulkan time tido tak jadi burung hantu dah. 

Since its cold thats the end of my day.. owh picture bawah nie why i said TAXI dia mahal. macam rasa downgrade sgt MERCEDES, TOYOTA, PEUGEOT and BMW bila their taxi pakai kreta mcm nie. hahahaa.. giler kan?? CURLASSS sgt you alls... 

And like i said when you travel you'll be surprise how some small things can remind you of home. like this tulisan nearly like TENTEN which my nick name for my nephews and niece! ehehhee.. (^^,)

total stay in athens 30nov-3dec: 4 days 

total allowed exp: 60 Euro

AIRPORT PICKUP (40/2) : 20 Euro

Groceries : 10 Euro

total : 30

so balance 30 euro for the next 3 days which 10 euro each day!
