IM IN LOVE WITH BRUSSELS

DAY 14

We don’t have much days in Brussels. Kejap je. But luckily, brussel nie kecik je tempat dia. I mean ada lah attraction yg jauh2 like ATOMIUM, but budget restricted, kitaorg pergi yang walking distance je. No jokes memang walking distance. Map dia pown sangat senang nak paham as it was very detailed!

So it would be a long day for us and we will be doing a lot of walking. Alahaaiii standby lah minyak and back support and koyok incase kaki lenguh nanti. Bila travel nie macam dah menjadi automatic mata buka elok utk subuh and then nap kejap until cerah sikit bru bangun siap. Kalau keluar pagi sangat nnt bahaya plus attraction pown bukan buka lagi. So usually we went out dalam 8/9 in the morning.

Our fist attraction would be the Palais De Justice. Nak pegi sini dari our house kena naik lift. So sampai lah kat blah atas dia… kat sini our host house cakap boleh naik lift and see the whole view of Brussels. Tapi tgk mcm tgh construction je so tak pe lah. Baru keluar lift jer dah breathtaking view.  First skali macam tak caya je we in Brussels. Ehehehe.. dari atas ni boleh nampak ATOMIUM tu. Imagine how big it is with the circle. Aishah ckp the circles tu each is dewan. And to one circle to another ada escalator. Canggih kan? Sorry Aishah sebab budget kak tia aishah tak dapat nak pergi. Really feel bad but what to do. No money to spare. Anyways Im glad now I know. Mana tahu ada rezeki kitaorg datang lagi.

It only take 1 hour flight je from London. Ada rezeki would love to bring mama kat sini even she said dah datang. Coz I know mesti enjoy makan waffle. Ehehhee.. okay tu simpan cite kejap lagi. Ehehe.. so our next stop would be the Zavel Sablon church. Kat sini ada antique market. Hurm senyap2 je snap sebab kalau ikut tak boleh. Memang rasanya sini banyak sape yg ske kumpul antiques stuff boleh lah cari kat sini. Very unique indeed.  Siap ada set Snow white and the seven dwarf. Rasa market antique nie every morning.

Jalan sikit ke atas dah lalu Musee Des Beaux Art. Kat tepi muse nie ada macam park ehehe.. we just masuk as it has a funny statue. So just intresting lah nak snap2 pic. Siap ada itik kena sumpah lagi ehehehe.. opposite nie would be the Palais Royal. Panjang sebenarnya Palais nie. Depan dia ada one big roundabout with a statue at the front. Sangat luas roundabout dia. Time nie memang rasa alaa kat paris. Oh kat sini most of them cakap French.

Somehow its better to come here than Paris. Sebab sini bersih and also not as dangerous as Paris. I mean not sebab attack to but sebab sini tak d lah highlight sangat pasal pickpocket ke apa ke. In paris memang kena betul2 hati2.

Baru jalan sikit dari Palais Royal nie.. turun ke bawah untuk cari tempat makan. Masa nie dah dekat tgh hari or even 2pm kowt. Jalan2 sampai tak sedar okay dah lunch time. Bila belok turun ke bawah je cant help it to keep stoping and snap pictures here and there. I told you this city every corner dia every angle dia ada je view cantik yg korunk akan rasa nak tangkap gambar! Super love lah kat sini!

So here some of the picture kat pit stop seterusnya called PLACE DE L’ALBERTINE. Landscape dia sangat lawa! Then jalan turun lagi sampai lah kat market where banyak food yang boleh korunk explore. I mean tak halal pown so yg boleh makan the fries as they memang special goreng fries semata and also the waffle! Fresh waffle made!

So one of the best fries kat sini banyak kowt. Cari kat dalam map gambar fries best lah tu. We bought at BELGIAN FRITES. Beli satu je sharing makan masa sejuk. Sebab makan sorunk memang tak habis sebab cepat je dia sejuk as now winter! Memang sedap ah makan panas2. Pastu nak tambah sauce ke kena extra charges. Normallah tu. So amik je yg special terus dapat ketchup, mayo and sauted onion. Sedap..

Kitaorg dah nampak kedai waffle kat sblah and banyak je orang keluar masuk kat sini. Macam comfirm sedap je kan? Ehehee… so apa lagi nak tick bucket list makan the Belgium waffle. Mana lagi d best if its not where its originality is. So we end up masuk this café called ‘GAUFRE DE BRUXELLES’ okay memang random je kan .. tapi dah duduk.. tgk menu sejuk2 kat luar tadi first kepala otak pikir I WANT HOT DRINKS! So me order cuppucino. Ingatkan nak share je waflle ngan aishah but we had different taste le plak. Me with choc in mind and aishah cream and strawberry. So tu lah we end up ordering! Ahahhaa.. two set of waffles. One for each with different toppings. Dah risau lah ingat I wont be finishing this.

Sampai2 ya allah.. skali makan… pergh.. speechless okay. Sangat light je rasa waffle dia. Macam makan hilang makan hilang gitu dalam mulut. Dah le warmie sgt! So mcm ngap ngap tak sedar nearly finish. D best part memang laju plak me makan. Ahahaha.. slalu aishah akan abis dulu. May be bcoz it’s a dessert. I cant help it. Habis licin okay! Mine with pure Belgium chocs not nutella okay! Sedap… Alhamdulillah for this super duper meal. Ehehhee…

Ttbe datang plak my clumsiness today where I spill my coffee hehehe.. oppss.. ya allah memang masa ni mcm budak baru first time makan kat restaurant pakai sudu garfu. Skali pisau pown macam terkuat potong waffle je pown. Ahahaha.. entah apa kena with me that day. Ahahhaa…

Dah kenyang apa lagi sambung jalan. Nak kena bakar balik calories nie. So we walk through and sampai dah kat their market. Kat sini ada buskes tgh nyanyi lagu Bruno mars kalau tak silap. Ahahaa.. sugar rush from the chocs agaknya me just enjoying myself sing along siap. Ahahhaa.. and sambil move slowly to GALLERIES ROYALS ST HUBERT. Dalam nie macam kat QVB pown ada. Inside her macam ada some chocs shops yg may be agak pricey sebab cantik2 je chocs dia.

We sempat snap2 picture sebab before datang ada lah tgk insta tag city of Brussels. Ada picture orang kat sini. Ehehhe.. so nak jugak lah. Sebab memang pretty pown. Next we masuk plak kat another lorong until I was so amaze with what I saw! Cantik okay this square mcm tgh2 kat castle pown ada. With a big Christmas tree. Bukan nak kata terpesong ke apa amaze ngan church. But if you look memang huish lah mcm wow kowt.. just love the architecture each one of it.  Super lawa.. like I said amik lah angle mana pown memang lawa! nie mcam center lah jugak called the GRAND PLACE (GROTE MARKET)

So we keep exploring and main redah je until we came across Christmas market. Macam2 ada kat sini, dari Christmas light to Christmas cards. Ada jugak lah yg jual some churros and other hot food. Nampak sedap but we still full. Kat sini nnt ada one jalan yg memang close. So yup we came across it. And look what I found? Haaa… tengteng kat tgh2 city. Tak d sape pown main org main lalu je. Orang putih nie tak tahu main ke apa? Ehehee..apa lagi lantak lah bukan orang kesah pown kan? Kitaorg yg main kat sini. Ahahaha.. hop hop and keep hop ahhaa.. lepas kitaorg blah je, baru lah nampak few kids main hop2 jugak kat tengteng tu ahahhaa.. sometimes you just have to do crazy thing kan. Ehehee..

We keep on walking and funny sgt bila nampak kedai KEBAP. Ahahaaaa.. im like eyh.. dorunk nie salah eja ke? Banyak plak. May be that’s how they eja kowt. Seriously banyak yg eja like that. Ehehhee…

They also have all the random stuff kat jalan yg tutup nie. Ttbe we saw ada rabbit nit sesat ngan tuan dia. Tapi rilex je tuan dia lepas kan. Ehehehe.. and this big chair im guessing utk org duduk2 bila penat jalan for Christmas night market.

Kat sini one thing about their wall dekat building2 tu ada cartoon. Tak tahu lah apa symbolize dia tapi I find it intresting and cantik. I mean compare to graffiti. Yang nie nampak better. Ehhehee.. that’s why lah city ni best and cantik!

Soo what else to see? Mcm mcam dah nampak. Kitaorg pown gi lah cari jugak budak kecik yg ske kencing tu which one of their symbol of Brussels. Nak tahu jugak apa cite disebalik cite budak nie. So cari jugak lah mana budak nie nye statue. Apparently budak nie sometimes bogel sometimes dorunk pakai kan dia baju. Since its nearly Christmas here is its costume. The rest of the costume akan di letakkan kat dalam museum okay. Along the way nie memang banyak tau nampak waffle 1 euro. Tu kosong punya kalau nak topping kena add on costlah.

Then masa nak pergi tadi nampak Waffle factory plak. OMG! Lain plak nie. Nie dia nye topping instead kat atas je, dia letak kat dlam and buat waffle kepit plak. Ehehee.. nie amik satu je lah share. Skali ngap haaa nutella overflow, while aishah busy writing her postcards me makan and makan and makan. Haish.. ahahhaa…

Tetiba.. a Christmas parade muncul kat corner and we are so lucky to be able to see it from the top desk of the restaurants. Ahahhaa.. ada lah patung cartoon besar yang nari2 and pusing2. Best jugak lah. Something different kan. Macam nie dorunk celebrate Christmas. Persiapan awal giler.

Last skali dah siap tulis nak cari tempat nak post plak. Masyaallah. Bukan main susah okay nak jumpa post box yg kecik tu. Apparently bila cari memang tak jumpa. Dah jumpa macam tak leh fungsi plak. Finally we manage to find one. Ahahhaaa.. siap posing lagi dgn post box tu! Ahahhaa.. dah post jalan2 ada je actually nampak. Yang dekat umah pown ada hampeh sgt kan? Biasalah tu. And as for me, gagah okay nak mencari benang kat sini. Why? Sebab me nak menjahit sikit bag my sister. Ahahaa.. bukan apa kat tempat handle je tepi2 takut terbuka. Ye lah slau mengangkat tarik2. Tertetas lah sikit. Hari tu dah jahit tapi takut tak kuat sebab esok kan nak balik. Kena menapak nak bawak turun bag tu dari tingkat dua and tangga dia ya allah kecik giler. So risau plak. Apa lagi menapak hujung jalan okay mencari kedai benang semata. Puas masuk supermarket semua tak de. Korunk bayang kan? Ishk2.. tapi while jalan2 nie mencari kedai benang called VARITAS, baru discover ada banyak je kedai2 branded kat sini yg sale! Kitaorg masing2 lawan nafsu tak masuk sebab nope no more additional on luggage for us! Nnt nak naik flight ROME – LONDON 20kg je gagah nak mengurangkan. Ehhehee..

Finally jumpa and lastly beli and terus find our way back home. WALKING OKAY. So ya.. the day exploring the city of BRUSSELS just by walking. Best! Kalau ikut esok nak g train station pown boleh je jalan tapi memikirkan bag berat giler no THANK YOU. Ehhehee..
